Today, Bazaar Square Lodges welcomes you to four lodge apartments and one studio, nestled in the heart of a tropical garden, just steps from the ocean. The apartment lodges offer two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to enjoy your stay at your own pace, in complete freedom, in a bohemian and soothing atmosphere. The other lodges will soon be added to complete the tribe.
Now is the perfect time to settle in, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and discover this little bohemian corner, with its tropical garden, refreshing pools, and the ocean just a few steps away.
Garden Lodges
Perfect for couples with children (up to 4 people), these ground floor lodges open directly onto the large tropical garden. Life here is lived outdoors, between naps in the hammock, children's laughter, and breakfasts with your feet in the grass.
Terrace Lodges
Ideal for couples or groups of friends (up to 4 people), these lodges are perched upstairs and offer beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. With a bright atmosphere and an outdoor area for relaxing and enjoying drinks at sunset, they are perfect for sharing without getting in each other's way.
Panoramic Lodges
Designed for two, our studios combine comfort, authenticity, and freedom. Offering breathtaking views of the estate, each one has a private rooftop and terrace, ideal for enjoying special moments in complete privacy.
BAZAAR SQUARE LODGES: The bohemian charm of Grand Baie
This is Bazaar Square Lodges, a little bohemian surf spot tucked away just behind the Grand Baie bazaar. We like to say we're at the center of everything... but still a little off the beaten track.
The grounds? A large tropical garden, two swimming pools, plenty of peace and quiet, and the sea just a stone's throw away. You can go to the bazaar, have a coffee, come back barefoot—that's our definition of luxury.
Fun fact: one of the owners shapes his own surfboards and kitesurf boards, and he also made most of the wooden furniture. As a result, everything has a bit of an artist's studio feel to it, with the smell of wax, raw wood, and sea salt.
Why “Bazaar Square”? Because we're right next to the bazaar, yes, but mainly because here, just like in a real bazaar, there will always be something new to discover. In 2026, we'll be adding a restaurant, a spa, a coworking space, yoga classes, and surely a few surprises that we're keeping under wraps.

Off the northern coast, the Northern Islands reveal spectacular landscapes of white beaches, turquoise lagoons, and coral reefs. Gabriel Island, Flat Island, and Coin de Mire can be explored on catamaran excursions combining snorkeling, relaxation, and lunch at sea—an experience not to be missed.
Just a stone's throw from the accommodation, Grand Baie charms visitors with its lively promenade, shops, and restaurants. Stroll through its narrow streets or explore the Grand Baie Bazaar, a typical Mauritian market rich in colors and crafts.
Less than 30 minutes by car from the lodge, explore the Pamplemousse Garden and its tropical paths, then immerse yourself in history at L'Aventure du Sucre and Château de Labourdonnais, where you can discover Mauritian heritage and enjoy local tastings.
Trou aux Biches offers one of the island's most beautiful lagoons for snorkeling. Crystal clear waters, colorful corals, and tropical fish—a true natural aquarium to explore with fins on your feet. Thrill seekers can also enjoy kitesurfing in this idyllic setting.
Just a few minutes from Bazaar Square, these three northern beaches each have their own unique atmosphere: Bain Bœuf with its sunsets, Pereybère with its turquoise lagoon, and La Cuvette with its tranquil charm close to the center.

Famous throughout the world, the church at Cap Malheureux offers a peaceful setting overlooking the lagoon. For a gourmet break, LaCaz Sandrine and Chez Jojo serve lobster and grilled fish with your feet in the sand.
